Honorable Artist: November 2009


I found her through her journal. I happened to run into a friends friend on DA and read her journal and I totally knew where she was coming from and she was right for the most part. As a struggling artist, she is just trying to improve and felt frustrated with the lack of support and help on DA. When I read that and went through her gallery, I was blown away at what I saw. I saw a mixture and a variety of art that you could tell she is trying to become better by expanding and drawing to push herself to become better. Too many artist draw to just have fun instead of failing to learn and grow. Even though her pieces may not turn out well in her eyes, she has grown from each failure and was taught something new each time she tries. Not only all of that but she understand lighting and color relations. Her use of watercolor and digital pieces are creative and yet very attractive. Traditional or digital, she keeps an even amount and exercises both which some artists do not due...and in response, I give her a LOT of credit! From my view point, I think she is a great example if a great artist who deserves a LOT more credit than given, not only that but she is very friendly!
